Simple touch

No matter how hard you may try, many times a photograph is just not what you had in mind when taking the picture. The image may be too large, off in color, too dark or bright. But what can you edit in your picture, and how do you go about making the changes with the digital photograph software available?

Choosing a simple or a more advanced program depends upon what your editing needs require. If you have only a few, minor adjustments to make, opt for a simple and lower priced software. However the more you plan on changing your photo, the more features you will need. Changing the coloring, inserting an object and other options will require a more advanced editing program.

red eye
Many photographs would not be considered having a problem, if only it wasn't for the red-eye effect. Almost every software program offers a red-eye feature that will repair the coloration, but why have the problem to start?

Red-eye is caused by the reflection of the flash reaching the back of the eyes all the way to the retina. The red color is a result of the blood vessels in the eye being illuminated. Flashing a light in the eyes of your subject before taking your shot will cause the pupil to contract therefore eliminating any red-eye.
