Another Way To Turn Color Photos into B&W
The following tutorial is an essential one for any image editor that likes to timelessness of black and white photos. Something just can’t be explained about the beauty of a black and white image. Adobe Photoshop CS3 provides us with the ability to easily change any digital image to black and white. You can even scan an image and make it look like it is much older than it seems. Of course, this is hard to do when everybody is wearing clothes that are from the future. - Open up Adobe Photoshop CS3
- Open up your desired image
- At the top of the program click the following sequence (Image/Adjustments/ Black & White)
- One the next screen you will see that your image is the basic black and white image; however, you will be given options to adjust this image. By adjusting the level of intensity in the colors available you can make the black white photo look different ways. You can experiment with this yourself
- After you are finished just click "OK". This will give you your finished image. All you have to do now is save it or print it. Then you are able to do anything you want with it. Programs like Adobe Fireworks CS3 and old Macromedia MX image editing products do this feature as well. Of course, it is in a different place.
